Who We Are

The Moment That Reshaped Everything

A few years ago, my wife went through serious health challenges. Overnight, life became about hospitals, specialists, fear, managing raising young children and uncertainty. And suddenly, all the things I thought “could wait”, my own stress levels, workload, poor boundaries, inefficient systems became impossible to ignore.

During that season, I saw clearly how fragile life really is. We only get an average life expectancy of about 4,000 weeks on this planet. Most people spend the majority of them stressed, overloaded and trying to hold their business together with duct tape.

That experience forced me to look hard at my own systems, patterns and work environments. I realized something uncomfortable:

People don’t burn out because they’re incapable. They burn out because the systems around them are inefficient, unbalanced or broken.

I saw similar issues:

  • decisions made without clarity

  • processes that depended on heroic effort instead of structure

  • teams pulling in different directions

  • leaders drowning in noise, not strategy

  • bottlenecks created by misalignment, not talent

It didn’t matter whether someone was brilliant or hardworking. If their environment lacked clarity, structure, and capacity but the result was always the same: stress, stagnation and wasted potential.

My wife's experience made one thing inescapably clear:

Life is too short to run a business that drains you.
A business should strengthen your life, not hollow it out or control it.

So I committed to building a methodology that helps leaders create businesses that are:

  • clear

  • aligned

  • financially strong

  • operationally efficient

  • resilient

  • capable of running without constant crisis

Systems, structure and clarity aren't “nice-to-have.” They are freedom. For health, for family and for the work that actually matters. When my wife went through serious health challenges, it forced a complete reset of how I viewed time, work and what truly matters. I saw clearly that most people, co-workers, engineering professionals and especially business owners (i.e.: my father/father-in-law) and operators (i.e.: my father and father-in-law) are buried under avoidable overwhelm simply because their business isn’t designed to support them.

They struggle with unclear processes, broken or inefficient communication, siloed teams, shifting priorities, 'hard work' and decision bottlenecks that drain energy and create endless reactivity. And while they’re working harder than ever, they’re getting further away from the things that matter: health, family, compensation and meaningful impact which is the ultimate goal and dream in the form of true wealth.

If we compartmentalize things, life is roughly an average of 4,000 weeks long. An average, does not mean everyone get this many weeks. Every week counts.

No business should consume the person running it.

That realization became the foundation of ProFound, a path shaped by lived experience and later inspired in part by watching my close friend, Ally Boothroyd, build a gracefully balanced life even through significant hardships. Her example reinforced what strong business foundations must be built on: clarity, resilience, alignment and a life-first approach that protects your time, your wellbeing and your capacity to lead. A true cornerstone of balanced, holistic success!

Our Strategic Pillars & Frameworks

Everything we deliver is built around four interconnected pillars that strengthen the business and the person leading it.

1. Operational Systems Engineering

Businesses fail, struggle or do not achieve full performance not because people aren’t working hard, but because their systems aren’t working smart, aligned and in a clear and concise manner.

This pillar focuses on engineering the internal mechanics of a business:

  • SOP development

  • Workflow mapping

  • Throughput optimization

  • Delivery cadence

  • Capacity vs capability alignment

  • Constraint identification

Outcome: stability, predictability, precision and smoother operations.

This is where chaos disappears and structure takes over.

2. Clarity & Decision Architecture

Clarity is the ultimate performance multiplier. Most leaders aren’t lacking effort, they’re lacking clear and calm visibility.

This pillar uncovers:

  • priorities

  • bottlenecks

  • decision fatigue

  • overwhelm

  • misalignment

  • operational blind spots

Then we architect the internal “decision system” that guides:

  • focus

  • direction

  • priorities

  • planning

  • execution

Outcome: confident decisions, tighter focus, clarity and strategic alignment.

This is where uncertainty becomes direction.

Revenue is vanity, cashflow is survival & margin is freedom.

This pillar engineers the financial backbone of a business:

  • Pricing mechanics

  • Margin architecture

  • Forecasting frameworks

  • Cashflow stabilization

  • Capital allocation logic

  • Risk profiling

Outcome: higher margins, better forecasting, Innovative/creative financing and financial control.

This is where business owners finally feel in charge of the numbers instead of controlled by them.

3. Clarity & Decision Architecture

This is where strategy meets execution.

Businesses often know “what” to do — they struggle with “how” and “when.”
This pillar brings high-level advisory together with operational discipline:

  • Strategic roadmapping

  • Project delivery oversight

  • Execution accountability

  • Long-term stability planning

  • Leadership support

  • Operational coaching

Outcome: faster implementation, reduced overwhelm, and reliable growth.

This is where clarity turns into consistent action.
